In order to maximize its mission of service to the community, The Music Club of Greenville lives in a continuous fund-raising mode as well as the collection of used instruments. Club members donate each year towards the scholarship program, the community grants program and provide monies for the repair of used instruments that are collected. We call our instrument program PITCH (Providing Instruments To CHildren) and donate the instruments once refurbished to the school system. However, in order to fund all of these programs, it is imperative that we solicit help from outside institutions, foundations, and concerned individuals. We are appreciative of individual monetary contributions as well as donations of musical instruments. All donations are used to promote music education in our community and for our Upstate South Carolina youth, unless the donor requests a specific use. Thank you for supporting the future of music in the Upstate.
We will take and refurbish new or used instruments for bands and orchestras only. We do NOT take pianos or organs. For information regarding donations of money or instruments, please contact Barbara Gulley at bgulley1@charter.net.
